I believe I have managed to infect Kim with the same curiosity and inquisitiveness about abadoned houses. We have found a handful around our Moncks Corner home to explore and randomely we will set out for a few hours just driving, looking, hoping. Each time we pass a grown over driveway we both cock our heads to peer down the winding line hoping to see a house in shambles. Walking through with light steps, holding a camera in one hand and steadying ourselves against floorboards that often are too soft to put your full weight onto, we press on looking for the little nuggets that make us go "hmm". And there are plenty... stay tuned for some of those highlights as well as some of our "life in the country" gleaming moments!
